Hot rolling of tubes (800-1200°C)
SVK water-based process lubricants are applied to the blank before it enters the hot-rolling stand. The organic component burns off on the hot surface; the mineral component forms a separating layer between metal and roll. The result: deformation force reduced by 25-40% and less metal pickup on the tool.

Conversion coatings for wire and tube drawing
Before cold drawing, the metal must be covered with a thin phosphate film that acts as a lubricant carrier. The SVK alumino-phosphate binder series — AFS, ABFS, AMFS, AKhFS-1, and AKhFS-2 — forms a uniform structure 3-10 µm thick that delivers a stable friction coefficient through the die.

The VTS (high-temperature process lubricants) and AKhFS (alumino-phosphate binder) series are built on mineral and inorganic chemistries free of perfluorooctanoic compounds (PFAS, PFOA, PFOS) — compliant with REACH Annex XVII restrictions and ISO 14001 certified.
